In Collaboration with Gramedia: SD Edu Global Cirebon Hosted Coloring Competition

 

The coloring competition organized by SD Edu Global Cirebon on May 11th at Gramedia Cipto, Cirebon was lively and festive.


The competition, which saw participation from dozens of children aged 3-7 years, was marked by high enthusiasm as the young participants competed against each other and had fun during the competition. 


This competition themed "Coloring Competition with Estudee," was chosen not only to commemorate National Education Day but also to foster creativity and boost the self-confidence of children.


SD Edu Global Cirebon believes that one critical issue today is the lack of direction in young children's productivity. By hosting this coloring competition, the school aims to help children develop their sense, creativity, and artistic skills.


In organizing this event, SD Edu Global Cirebon partnered with Gramedia, a prominent educational institution in Indonesia, to instill an early awareness of literacy in children. Hosting the competition at Gramedia Cipto is intended to motivate children to enhance their literacy culture.


SD Edu Global Cirebon holds that literacy should be introduced to children from an early age. We believe that one effective way to capture children's interest in books is by frequently exposing them to literary environments and introducing them to richly illustrated books, such as the coloring books which was used in this competition.
