Our First Commemorate Isra Mi'raj at SD Edu Global Cirebon

 



Cirebon, January 24, 2025 – Edu Global School Cirebon was immersed in an Islamic atmosphere as students gathered to commemorate Isra Mikraj, the spiritual journey of the Prophet Muhammad. The event, held on Friday morning in the school's 5th-floor hall, was marked by the recitation of sholawat and enthusiastic participation from students dressed in traditional Muslim attire.

The celebration brought together students from all levels—elementary, junior high, and high school—who took part in a series of activities designed to enrich their understanding of the occasion. The program began with a Quranic recitation performed by junior and senior high school students, followed by opening remarks from High School Principal Dani Ramadhan.

The highlight of the event was a Mauidzoh Hasanah (spiritual lecture) delivered by Ustadz Muhammad Rosyad from Al-Bahjah Islamic Boarding School. In his speech, he elaborated on the significance of Isra Mikraj, emphasizing that "Mikraj means ‘a place to ascend,’ and one of the key lessons from this journey is the importance of prayer. Through prayer, individuals can elevate their spiritual and moral standing." His message resonated with the school's ongoing commitment to fostering religious discipline, as reflected in the students' daily practice of Dhuha and Dzuhur prayers in congregation.

The event concluded with a Muslim Fashion Competition, in which elementary students showcased their creativity by donning their best Islamic attire. Judged by Miss Jihan and Miss Lia, the competition encouraged students to express confidence and stage presence. The initiative aimed to instill a sense of creativity and self-assurance, reinforcing Edu Global School's dedication to nurturing well-rounded and courageous young individuals.

The celebration not only honored the significance of Isra Mikraj but also strengthened the students' sense of faith, community, and personal growth.

Pagi hari itu, tepatnya pada hari Jumat, 24 Januari 2025 situasi sekolah penuh dengan nuansa islami. Lantunan sholawat menggema di aula lantai 5 gedung Edu Global School Cirebon. Para siswa beramai-ramai menyemarakkan dengan mengenakan pakaian muslim. Hari itu bertepatan dengan momen perayaan Isra Mikraj Rasulullah SAW. Seluruh unit mulai dari SD, SMP, dan SMA ikut serta untuk mengikuti seluruh rangkaian kegiatan. Kegiatan diawali dengan pembacaan sari tilawah Al-Quran dari siswa SMP dan SMA. Setelah itu, Bapak Dani Ramadhan, Kepala Sekolah SMA, mewakili untuk sambutan pembuka.

Acara puncak pada kegiatan ini adalah penyampaian Mauidzoh Hasanah oleh Ustadz Muhammad Rosyad dari Pondok Pesantren Al-Bahjah. Beliau menyampaikan terkait Isra Mikraj bahwa "Mikraj secara bahasa berarti 'tempat untuk naik', salah satu oleh-oleh dari perjalanan tersebut adalah perintah sholat. Secara tidak langsung, hal tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa jikalau manusia ingin naik derajatnya, salah satu caranya adalah dengan sholat." Esensi dari kajian pagi hari itu senada dengan yang telah dikonsistenkan oleh siswa-siswi SD Edu Global School melalui rutinan sholat dhuha dan dzuhur secara berjamaah tiap harinya.

Kegiatan berikutnya setelah Mauidzoh Hasanah adalah Lomba Busana Muslim yang dilaksanakan oleh seluruh siswa SD Edu Global Cirebon. Tiap siswa mengenakan penampilan terbaiknya untuk memukau audiens. Juri pada pelaksanaan lomba tersebut adalah Miss Jihan dan Miss Lia. Siswa secara berpasangan naik ke atas panggung untuk menarik perhatian dan mendapatkan penilaian dari dewan Juri. Ajang ini dilaksanakan untuk menampilkan kreativitas dan keberanian siswa untuk tampil di depan umum, sehingga harapannya siswa-siswi SD Edu Global Cirebon dapat menjadi generasi yang pemberani dan kreatif.
