SD Edu Global Cirebon’s Tahsin Tahfidz Program: Early Quranic Learning for Stronger Character Development

 


The Tahsin Tahfidz program is an integral part of the curriculum at SD Edu Global Cirebon, designed to instill a love for Quranic learning from an early age. Conducted regularly every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings, the program begins with a muraja’ah (Quranic revision) session, reinforcing both memorization and character development among students. This is followed by structured Tahsin Tahfidz lessons in their respective classrooms, tailored to each student's Quranic reading level using the Qiro’ati method. This method emphasizes direct reading of the Quran without spelling out letters, ensuring fluency and adherence to Tajweed rules.

A Structured and Holistic Approach to Quranic Learning

The Tahsin Tahfidz lessons are a mandatory subject at SD Edu Global Cirebon, conducted daily from 08:00 to 09:10 WIB. The primary objectives of this program include:

  • Developing the habit of Quranic memorization

  • Strengthening students’ religious and moral character

  • Enhancing Quranic reading and pronunciation skills

Monitoring and Evaluation for Continuous Improvement

To track student progress, SD Edu Global Cirebon implements a Tahsin Tahfidz Achievement Book, which serves as a monitoring tool for both teachers and parents. This evaluation process ensures that each student’s Qiro’ati level and memorization progress are systematically recorded and reviewed.

Through consistent participation in Tahsin Tahfidz, students are expected to develop proficiency in Quranic recitation, achieving fluent and accurate tartil reading. This initiative reflects SD Edu Global Cirebon’s commitment to fostering a strong foundation in religious education, equipping students with both spiritual and academic excellence for their future.

Kegiatan Tahsin Tahfidz dilaksanakan secara rutin di SD Edu Global Cirebon, setiap pagi hari rabu, kamis, dan jum`at secara rutin diadakan murajaah pagi sebagai penguatan karakter dan hafalan Al-Qur`an untuk anak-anak. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pembelajaran Tahsin Tahfidz di kelas masing-masing menyesuaikan dengan jilid anak-anak yaitu dengan menggunakan level qiro`ati. Metode qiroati adalah metode membaca Al-Qur'an yang dibaca secara langsung tanpa ejaan dan tartil sesuai kaidah tajwid.

Pembelajaran Tahsin Tahfidz juga dilaksanakan rutin setiap pukul 08.00 s.d 09.10 WIB menjadi mata pelajaran wajib di SD Edu Global Cirebon. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk pembiasaan anak-anak dalam menghafal Al-Qur`an, penguatan karakter dan keagamaan, serta melatih anak-anak membaca dan melafalkan Al-Qur`an (mengaji).

Selama pembelajaran juga anak-anak dipantau dan dievaluasi menggunakan buku prestasi Tahsin Tahfidz untuk mengetahui sejauh mana level qiroati atau perkembangan tahsin tahfidz anak-anak kepada orang tua. Dengan rutin menjalankan kegiatan Tahsin Tahfidz, anak-anak SD Edu Global Cirebon diharapkan kedepannya anak-anak mengaji dan menghafal Al-Qur`an dengan tartil dan benar.
