SD Edu Global Cirebon Personal Observation; Getting Closer to Our Students

 

        SD Edu Global Cirebon sebagai sekolah swasta yang mengusung konsep Homey School dan Small Class memiliki 3 pilar utama, yakni Akademik, Karakter dan Talenta. SD Edu Global Cirebon meyakini bahwa setiap anak memiliki potensi hebatnya masing-masing dan perlu mendapatkan pendampingan yang personal sehingga setiap perkembangannya dan potensinya bisa diamati serta berkolaborasi dengan orangtua untuk konsisten mendampingi di rumah dan sekolah.

       Untuk bisa mengenal peserta didik lebih baik, tentunya pendekatan secara personal serta mengenal profil nya perlu dilakukan, sehingga ketika nanti pengajar mendampingi di sekolah, pengajar sudah paham kebutuhan setiap peserta didiknya. Begitu pun saat SD Edu Global Cirebon melakukan kegiatan Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) di tahun pertamanya berdiri, di tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Salah satu proses yang dilakukan untuk mengenal profil calon peserta didik baru adalah dengan melaksanakan Observasi Personal.

        Observasi personal merupakan salah satu tahapan penerimaan peserta didik baru di SD Edu Global Cirebon yang bertujuan  mengamati  kemampuan perkembangan siswa dari berbagai aspek, mulai dari aspek kognitif, bahasa, sosial, emosi. motorik, pembinaan agama, serta budi pekerti. Aktivitas yang dilakukan berupa kegiatan bermain menggunakan Alat Permainan Edukatif, Motoric Activities dan Kegiatan Tanya Jawab. kegiatan dilaksanakan One on Oe; satu calon peserta didik dan satu observer. Hal ini dilakukan dengan harapan profil calon peserta didiknya akan jauh lebih mudah diamati dibandingkan dilakukan dalam jumlah yang banyak sekaligus. 

        Saat ini telah dilakukan kegiatan observasi personal ke banyak calon peserta didik yang mendaftar ke SD edu Global Cirebon. Semoga dengan kegiatan ini, saat nantinya peserta didik bergabung dan belajar di SD Edu Global, sekolah bisa menyiapkan program yang betul-betul memfasilitasi kebutuhan setiap peserta didiknya.
